Are there additional wedding activities to know about?

Yes! The day before the wedding on Saturday, May 14th, you are all invited to join us for a “Welcome to Town” happy hour from 3-6pm at Villa Wine Bar & Kitchen. We realize many of you will be arriving that day and settling in but feel free to stop by anytime between 3-6pm for some wine and pizza.

What’s the dress code for the wedding?

Semi-formal spring wedding. The day includes an outdoor ceremony in the courthouse gardens followed by an outdoor dinner well into the night. Wear shoes for dancing and bring a light jacket just in case.

What kind of weather should I expect?

The weather in Santa Barbara in May is usually mild and dry. Clouds are common because it’s still spring but rain is…unlikely? We hope :) Temperatures range between 60-70 degrees.

May 15th, 2018: Low 63, High 66, mostly sunny

May 15th, 2019: Low 63, High 64, mostly cloudy

May 15th, 2020: Low 72, High 80, mostly sunny

What about children?

Children ages 15 and older are welcome to attend.

What’s the food situation?

Please indicate your food preferences on the RSVP page. For all guests the dinner will be “family style” with large platters of food shared between smaller groups of 4-6 people, rather than an individually plated dinner or a buffet. Everyone will have access to a vegetarian entrée and sides as part of the main menu.
